Dr. Jolett Rod

Dr. Jolett Rod moved to Oklahoma City in 2024 to be of service to others by founding Spine and Spirit. She graduated in 2016 from the University of Western States with a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine. She is a Certified Exercise Trainer in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization through the Prague School of Rehabilitation and has completed 500 hours of yoga teacher training.
As a chiropractic physician, her style of healing is one shaped from personal experience. She knows what it’s like to fall between the cracks of the medical system, to know something is wrong and still be pushed aside and dismissed. Because of this, she spends a significant amount of time with patients simply listening, because she believes you know more about your own body than anyone else. She thrives working with patients with complex illnesses, chronic pain, PTSD, and neurodivergent populations because she has lived these experiences first hand. She is a trauma informed bodyworker who understands first-hand how trauma is stored in the physical body. She loves working with all patients of all ages from all walks of life.
By way of training, she is a chiropractor first and foremost, but she believes that everyone’s healing journey is complex and requires individualized care. She spent eight years practicing in the state of Oregon, where chiropractors are considered primary care physicians. Due to this, spinal care is only part of her treatment approach, because there is much more to you, your health, and your wellbeing outside of your spine. She utilizes many diverse treatment modalities to nourish both your spine and your spirit, because she knows optimal health cannot be achieved without taking into account the whole person- body, mind, and spirit.
